The 5th International Bowls for Disabled (IBD) World Championships is coming to Ekurhuleni, South Africa in May 2024. The 2024 IBD World Champs event promises to be a celebration of global courage, determination, and unity in a global group of people with physical and visual challenges.  The event will take place across three prestigious Ekurhuleni clubs from May 18th to 31st, 2024.

Basically, we need you to be a part of the action so please join us at the 2024 IBD World Champs in welcoming physically disabled and visually impaired bowlers from around the globe.  These bowlers will showcase their talents and share personal, inspiring stories of extraordinary perseverance.

We are excited to announce that the 5th International Bowls for Disabled (IBD) World Championships is coming to Ekurhuleni, South Africa in May 2024. This World Champs event promises to be a celebration of global courage, determination, and unity in a global group of people with physical and visual challenges.  It will take place across three prestigious Ekurhuleni clubs from May 18th to 31st, 2024.

Delville Germiston Bowling Club (HQ)
Kempton Park Bowling Club (Alt HQ)
Benoni Bowling Club

Lake Bowling Club will serve as the practice venue. Athletes will prepare at this venue for the ultimate showdown on the greens.
